每 + (数) + 量 + Noun + 都 + Verb
每 (měi) = "every, each". It's followed by a measure word (每个人, 每天, 每年: 天/年/周 need no measure word).
You almost always add 都 before the verb to stress "without exception": 每天都跑步 = run every day.
One of the most typical Chinese reflexes: when you see 每, think 都.
Examples
我每天早上都跑步。
Wǒ měi tiān zǎoshang dōu pǎobù.I run every morning.
他每个周末都去游泳。
Tā měi ge zhōumò dōu qù yóuyǒng.He goes swimming every weekend.
每个人都很高兴。
Měi ge rén dōu hěn gāoxìng.Everyone is very happy.
每次比赛他都来看。
Měi cì bǐsài tā dōu lái kàn.He comes to watch every match.
Common mistakes
✗ 我每天跑步 isn't wrong, but ✓ 我每天都跑步 is more natural.
✗ 都每天 → ✓ 每天都 (都 right before the verb).
✗ 每人书 → ✓ 每个人.
