Without an account, your lessons, reviews, XP and settings stay only in your browser’s local storage: we cannot access them. You can export or erase them from “My progress”.
If you create an account, we keep your email address and a copy of your progress to sync it across your devices, with Supabase (EU hosting, Frankfurt). Legal basis: performance of the service. Retention: until you delete the account, which you can do yourself from “My account”.
To send you the sign-in link and code, your email address goes through Brevo (a French company, EU hosting), which delivers these emails for us. It is used for nothing else: no newsletter, no advertising. Legal basis: performance of the service.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we only keep your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. Legal basis: performance of the contract and accounting obligations.
When enabled, we use Plausible Analytics, an EU tool that sets no cookies and collects no personal data: page views, referrer, country, device type, in aggregate.
Only if you click “Accept”, we use PostHog (EU hosting) to understand how courses and exercises are used: lessons started/completed, right/wrong answers, navigation paths. With that same consent, PostHog also records how your visits unfold so we can replay them: pages shown, clicks, scrolling, pointer movements and technical errors. What you type in a field is masked before it is sent, and your account’s email address is not recorded. A pseudonymous ID is stored in your browser. Legal basis: consent. Retention: up to 13 months. Withdraw anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
