Can I really learn for free?

Yes. Full HSK 1, every vocabulary list, all grammar guides and practice tools are free, with no time limit and no card needed.

Do I need an account?

Not for the free content: your progress stays on your device. A free account (you sign in with a link sent by email, no password) syncs it across your devices. You need one to go Pro.

How does the free trial work?

The yearly plan starts with 7 free days if it is your first Hanlu subscription. Cancel from your account before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Otherwise €59.99 is charged when the 7 days are up.

Can I get a refund?

Pro opens as soon as you pay: by ticking the box before paying, you ask for that immediate access and waive the 14-day withdrawal right. To try it risk-free, the yearly plan starts with 7 free days: cancel before they end and nothing is charged. Lifetime access has no trial: start with the free HSK 1 to get a feel for it.

What happens if I stop Pro?

You keep your progress, your review words and everything free. The HSK 2 to HSK 6 lessons lock at the end of the period you already paid for, and review goes back to the free daily limit of new words.

What is the lifetime offer?

A single payment of €149 for Pro with no time limit, lessons added later included. It is for the first 500 buyers only; after that, only the subscriptions remain.

Does Hanlu replace a teacher?

Hanlu covers vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and writing. For speaking, we recommend adding conversations with native speakers.

Will I be ready for the official exam?

Our lessons follow the HSK 3.0 standard, which the exam is based on, from HSK 1 to 6, and the official vocabulary goes up to HSK 9. The 2025 exam syllabus differs a little (some words move level, a few are added): also go through its official list and practice the speaking section with your test center’s format.
