A + 对 + B + Adj / 感兴趣 / 有帮助
The preposition 对 marks the target of an attitude or effect. It goes before the adjective or verb.
Key expressions: 对…感兴趣 (be interested in), 对…很好 (be nice to), 对…有帮助 (be helpful for), 对…来说 (for…, from the point of view of).
As an adjective, 对 also means "right, correct": 你说得对 (you're right).
Examples
我对中国历史很感兴趣。
Wǒ duì Zhōngguó lìshǐ hěn gǎn xìngqù.I'm very interested in Chinese history.
我们的老师对学生特别好。
Wǒmen de lǎoshī duì xuésheng tèbié hǎo.Our teacher is especially kind to the students.
多听多说对学中文很有帮助。
Duō tīng duō shuō duì xué Zhōngwén hěn yǒu bāngzhù.Listening and speaking a lot really helps with learning Chinese.
对我来说，声调最难。
