(有) + 多 + 远 / 长 / 大 / 高 / 久？
多 + adjective asks about degree: 多远 (how far), 多长时间 (how long), 多大 (how old / how big), 多高 (how tall), 多久 (how long).
有 is often added in front: 离这儿有多远？
In an exclamation, 多 means "how…!": 多漂亮啊！(How beautiful!)

Common mistakes
✗ 多少远 → ✓ 多远 (多少 = how many / how much).
