Subject + 还 + Verb / Adj
还 (hái) is a multi-purpose adverb, always before the verb:
1. Also, in addition: 我要一碗米饭，还要一个汤 (a bowl of rice, and a soup too). 还要别的吗？(Anything else?)
2. Still (continuation): 他还在吃饭 (he's still eating). 还没 = not yet.
3. Fairly, OK (还 + positive adj): 味道还可以 (the taste is OK / not bad).

我们要一条鱼，还要两碗米饭。
Wǒmen yào yì tiáo yú, hái yào liǎng wǎn mǐfàn.We'll have a fish, and two bowls of rice as well.
十点了，他还在工作。
Shí diǎn le, tā hái zài gōngzuò.It's ten o'clock and he's still working.
这家的菜还可以，不太贵。
Zhè jiā de cài hái kěyǐ, bú tài guì.The food here is OK, not too expensive.
Common mistakes
✗ 我要米饭，还我要汤 → ✓ 我要米饭，还要汤 / 我还要汤 (还 before the verb, after the subject).
Don't confuse it with 还 huán (to return): 还书 = return a book.
