A + 跟/和 + B + 一样 (+ Adj) ｜ A + 跟 + B + 不一样 / 不同
A 跟 B 一样 = "A is the same as B". Add an adjective to be specific: 他跟我一样高 (he's as tall as me).
Negative: A 跟 B 不一样 (negate 一样, not 跟).
More formal: 相同 (identical) / 不同 (different). They also work before a noun: 不同的国家有不同的教育制度.

Common mistakes
✗ 我不跟他一样。 → ✓ 我跟他不一样。
