反正 means "anyway, in any case": the conclusion holds whatever the circumstances. It often follows 无论/不管 or an alternative.
It also justifies a decision casually: 反正没事，我们去走走吧 ("we've nothing to do anyway…"). Mainly spoken. It goes before or after the subject.
Examples
不管你信不信，反正我信。
Bùguǎn nǐ xìn bu xìn, fǎnzhèng wǒ xìn.Whether you believe it or not, I do anyway.
反正明天放假，今晚我们看电影吧。
Fǎnzhèng míngtiān fàngjià, jīnwǎn wǒmen kàn diànyǐng ba.We're off tomorrow anyway, so let's watch a film tonight.
你别劝了，反正我已经决定了。
Nǐ bié quàn le, fǎnzhèng wǒ yǐjīng juédìng le.Stop trying to persuade me; I've decided anyway.
Common mistakes
✗ Mixing up 反正 (anyway) and 反而 (on the contrary).
✗ 反正 in a formal report sounds too casual → ✓ 无论如何。
