S + 从来 + 不 + V (habit) | S + 从来 + 没(有) + V + 过 (experience)
从来 means "always, all along" and is mostly used negatively to mean "never".
• 从来不 + V: a habit or principle: 他从来不喝酒 (he never drinks).
• 从来没(有) + V + 过: an experience never had: 我从来没去过西藏 (I've never been to Tibet).
The 不/没 contrast is the usual one: 不 = will/habit, 没 = past fact.
Examples
他从来不吃早饭，所以胃不好。
Tā cónglái bù chī zǎofàn, suǒyǐ wèi bù hǎo.He never eats breakfast, so his stomach is bad.
我从来没得过这么重的感冒。
Wǒ cónglái méi dé guo zhème zhòng de gǎnmào.I've never had such a bad cold.
她从来都很注意饮食。
Tā cónglái dōu hěn zhùyì yǐnshí.She has always watched her diet.
Common mistakes
✗ 我从来没去西藏。→ ✓ 我从来没去过西藏。(过 expected for experience)
