拿 + example + 来说，…
拿…来说 introduces a concrete example illustrating a general claim you've just made: "take… for example", "if we take the case of…".
It opens the sentence and is followed by a comma. Close to 比如 or 以…为例 (more written).
Examples
中国各地的饮食很不一样，拿早饭来说，北方人爱吃包子。
Zhōngguó gè dì de yǐnshí hěn bù yíyàng, ná zǎofàn lái shuō, běifāngrén ài chī bāozi.Food varies a lot across China; take breakfast: northerners love steamed buns.
现在的交通很方便，拿我来说，每天坐高铁上班。
Xiànzài de jiāotōng hěn fāngbiàn, ná wǒ lái shuō, měi tiān zuò gāotiě shàngbān.Transport is very convenient now; take me: I commute by high-speed train every day.
拿这次旅行来说，我们只花了两千块。
Ná zhè cì lǚxíng lái shuō, wǒmen zhǐ huā le liǎng qiān kuài.Take this trip: we only spent two thousand yuan.
Common mistakes
✗ Using 拿…来说 with no general statement before it: the example must illustrate something.
✗ 拿我说 → ✓ 拿我来说。
